Dimitris Kolliakos is a Greek paraglider and paramotor pilot, who joined the ITV Wings team in 2015.
When he was a child, he dreamed of being a veterinarian... And then he discovered paramotoring through his father, with whom he had the chance to travel a lot, and who made his own engines.
From there, he had the dream of being a professional pilot.
When asked for his favorite ITV wing, he said that “if I had to have only one wing, that would be the Piper", but also mentioned his preferences for Awak 3 for freestyle and Fury for slalom.
He likes to share the story of how, one day, he went through terrible weather conditions, fully trusting its wing capacity.
Now, he’s focusing on his training for the Paramotor Slalom Championships, and maintaining ITV’s leader position in this field.
Today, he flies as soon as possible and spends more than 2 months a year training for upcoming competitions.
