Harold van Veldhuisen is a Dutch pilot in paragliding and paramotoring who joined ITV team in 2021.
When he was a young boy, he was already dreaming to become a pilot, to fly and enjoy freedom.
It was in high school that he discovered the world of paramotor, asking one of his classmates about the causes of his broken arm.
Turns out he had an accident with a paramotor propeller! From there on, Harold felt in love with this sport and doing, it shaped his whole world.
Within ITV’s wing, the Fury is his favorite. He tried it for the first time « thanks to Dimitris ».
He was surprised during his first flight by this amazing wing, a beautiful concoction of speed, agility and security.
Talking about that wing brought back a fun anecdote of his flight at Jutrosin. He wasn’t yet accustomed to the Fury’s behavior (speed, turning radius, etc..) causing him miscalculate the first turn resulting in a meeting of fabric and pylon and finally ending up in the water! A dive he would not have wanted to miss for the world !!
His main goal is to keep on working on his skills, take part in competitions and grow ever upwards.
